This study aims to reconstruct the evolution of the protection of national minorities in Europe from World War II to the present day. Unlike what had occurred after the Great War, the new international legal framework that emerged following World War II emphasized the respect for human rights but did not provide any specific protection for national minorities as such.

The article analyses Craxi’s position on the Euromissiles crisis from 1979 to 1983. Through the use of US and PSI primary sources, the essay reconstructs a crucial historical turning point that allowed Italy to relaunch its foreign policy and made the PSI an indispensable force in the Italian political system.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to warfare represents one of the most controversial facets of the algorithmic revolution. In contrast with the current political climate, Italian public opinion strongly supports the regulation of the development and possible deployment of “intelligent” weapons through a multilateral approach, with the United Nations and the European Union playing leading roles and international negotiations serving as the key instrument.

In November 2023, representatives from the European Union (EU) and the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) met in Apia to sign a new international treaty aimed at fostering cooperation across various policy areas, including human and social development, trade and investment, environment and climate change, peace and security, human rights and democracy, migration and mobility, as well as emerging global challenges.
