Maria Grazia Melchionni - Giampaolo Malgeri
In her Introduction Maria Grazia Melchionni motivates the decision to add complementary and supplementary notes to Carlo Sforza’s diary from that of his wife, Valentina Errembault de Dudzeele, and then describes her extraordinary figure and importance in his life. Minister of Foreign Affairs from the third to the sixth De Gasperi government (February 2, 1947-July 26, 1951), Carlo Sforza was the main actor in the reconstruction of international relations of the country, which came out defeated and isolated from the world war and which was in an extremely fragile internal political situation.

This article looks at the roots of terrorism in Ireland before 1920, the same causes still applying after 1920, including the period 1969-2007 (Provisional IRA campaign in Northern Ireland). It places the causes in the socio-economic and political history of Ireland in the 19th century, noting how modern industrial development was confined to the predominantly Protestant North (Ulster). Meanwhile the South was dominated by a traditional aristocratic, landlord, Protestant elite who presided over an overwhelmingly rural, Catholic population.

The aim of the article is to analyze the long-standing relationship between the IMF and China.
The Fund is, together with the World Bank Group, one of the International Financial Institutions based in Washington that were conceived in July 1944 at the Bretton Woods Conference. Among the original members of the IMF there was China. Later, after the civil war that in 1949 marked the victory of the communists conducted by Mao Zedong, the Republic of China, which moved
to Taiwan, not only retained its permanent seat at the UN Security Council but was also recognized by most of the IMF members as the sole government of China.

Diplomat in service for a few years in Italy, the author wanted to study how the “Jewish question” manifested itself in the ”Apennine peninsula” at the time of fascism. He made a careful choice of the most representative historiographical and documentary sources, collected even a few oral sources, and laying on them a cold gaze external to the story he has briefly reconstructed the origin and evolution of this question in the fascist period, showing its chauvinistic character and strong politicization.
